How do I request adult probation records?

Submit your request to the designated adult probation records request email address at: AdultProbationRecords@probation.lacounty.gov.

Who can request adult probation records?

Adult probation records are only released to entitled parties as outlined in Penal Code 1203.05 and 1203.10. As such, in your request please state what your association is to the records you are requesting.

What do I need to include in my request for my adult probation records?

Please include the following information:

• Full legal name
• Date of birth
• Case information
• Proof of identity (valid driver’s license, state issued identification card, passport, military identification)

*Please Note: Government agencies entitled to the records must submit their request on agency letterhead.

How will I receive the requested records?

Adult probation records are sent via Secure email.

How soon will I receive the requested records?

Please allow three (3) to four (4) weeks for your records request to be processed. All records requests are processed in the order in which they are received.
