Gabriella Aguilera, Deputy Director, Court, Placement and Juvenile Special Services

Ms. Aguilera is Deputy Director of Court, Placement, and Juvenile Special Services for the Los Angeles County Probation Department. She began her law enforcement career in 1997 as a Youth Correctional Counselor for the Division of Juvenile Justice. In 2000, promoted to a Parole Agent with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). Throughout her 24 years in the field, Ms. Aguilera has earned the respect of her colleagues, supervisors, and community partners. During her tenure at CDCR, she held several senior positions, ultimately serving as the Chief Deputy Administrator in the Division of Adult Parole Operations, where she managed more than 500 staff members.

Ms. Aguilera holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s degree in public administration and public policy from California State University, Long Beach. She is a highly motivated and skilled professional with extensive experience in community supervision and in managing daily operations within the Division. Her expertise and skills greatly contribute to our organization as we continue to advance the Department.
