Juvenile Charges Breakdown

As of May 14, 2025, Los Padrinos housed juveniles for various charges. The most common offenses include:

• Violent crimes (murder, attempted murder, assault, battery, robbery, kidnapping, gang-related incidents): 83%.
• Property crimes (carjacking, burglary, vandalism, theft): 6%.
• Drug-related offenses (possession, trafficking): 0%.
• Weapons violations: 15%.
• Probation violations (repeat offenses or failure to comply with terms): 3%.
• Sex-related offenses: 1%.

Some youths have overlapping charges. The above percentages are approximate.
Each juvenile’s detention length is case-dependent, with judicial discretion applied to sentencing.
