BEVERLY HILLS HATE CRIME ARREST 560 725 Mirikat Atnafu

LOS ANGELES—Today, The Los Angeles County Probation Department’s Special Enforcement Operation (SEO) in a collaborative effort with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Beverly Hills Police Department assisted in an operation resulting in the arrest of one of the primary suspects responsible for a hate crime in Beverly Hills.

As part of the joint operation, Probation’s SEO Team conducted the entry into the residence, and subsequent compliance check. The Beverly Hills Police Department served warrants and made the arrest.

“L.A. County Probation was happy to support this operation. Part of our role is to not only ensure Probation clients comply, but we’re also providing services and helping keep communities safe. This joint effort is just one example of how public safety agencies have a shared responsibility to keep communities safe.” said Interim Chief Probation Officer Ray Leyva.

Please see the media release below from the Beverly Hills Police Department detailing today’s operation.
